Where to hide stuff?
I thought I saw some posts / links on clever ways to hide money / valuables a while back but can't seem to find them.
If someone has some links to share on that subject I would appreciate it. |
Re: Where to hide stuff?
Of course if we tell you it will no longer be a secret. Get a big, huge, fierce dog. In his collar you can hide any kind of dope you want. I he bites a cop, all bets are off.
Money, valuables? I ain't saying. Dig a hole. Fake bricks Fake stones Old busted up concrete Inside an old printer housing (who would want that?) An old CRT, you couldn't pay me to take it. Under the hood of your girlfreinds car (you know she never opens it). Dig a hole. Pour the shit into the crankcase of that old chevy out back. Cut a hole in the top of the metal stanchion that holds the I beam in the basement (just like a piggy bank) Actually a friend was renovating a home and found two stanchions filled with old silver coins. A shitload of money my freind. Dig a hole. Never divulge how cleverly you hid your stash. The biggest conundrum: Can you trust someone with the location of your treasure? What if you die in an accident? A very close friend of mine found $60,000. wrapped up in an old oilskin in a heater closet of the home she was renting. The old guy who lived there before her had developed memory problems and left it. She told her husband she found $30,000 and gave the rest to her mom to keep for her. Wise lady, I guess. Before a year was out, her husband had blown it all on cocaine and who knows what, they had their kids taken away and their life was in ruins. Some guys just can't handle a little money. She divorced him and her Mom helped her get a home and get her kids back. Dig a hole and find a good woman. They aren't easy to come by. Hint: If they work hard, they are a good woman. |

Having said that I built my own home with my own hands and know a myriad of cavities and spaces I could hide items that only I know, but think it's better to hide things away from the obvious yet in plain sight. I recall a Vietnam vet who had a huge weapons stash under the flower boxes by his mailbox out at the street. He also had a diversionary weapons safe inside as well as a couple of hidden, but easily found weapons too. Interesting thread. |

Re: Where to hide stuff?
If you have a septic system, dig up the distribution box and drop your coins in it and cover it back up.
Do you have a crawl space under your house? If so chances are there are numerous places where holes have been cut in the house floor to run plumbing etc. Look for a hole that provides access to the bottom of the bathtub faucet/water lines. This would be good as a metal tub woud hide your PMs from a metal detector. |

+600000000 Also you can pop out floor boards allong the base of a room for long term storage. I am big fan of keeping assets in the basement.(or lowest point in the dwelling) God forbid there is a fire you know where the location of your valubles are. Nothing is a 100% we do the best we can. The hardest of all is finding someone you can trust with that information in the event of untimely demise. T |

Saw this thread at CyberCommand... 'cept it was called "how to raid a house." They gave you guys credit though. LOL. |
Re: Where to hide stuff?
I read stories of gangs hiding their stuff in public places (plain sight). I read of one group who would roll wads of hundreds in rubber bands and put them inside pipes at playgrounds, parks and chain link fences. Also inside the handicap rails in public toilets, and other such places. Then if they got raided, nothing was inside their house to find.
I read of other guys who would befriend/help out old/poor people in the neighborhood, and stash stuff inside these peoples houses or even outrightly with the persons permission, keep a safe in these peoples houses in exchange for food/pay electric bills etc... |
